What Is Your Best Win From The Bookies.
I haven't included the Lottery because I don't do it (stupid odds) and it's my thread  . Please include the Irish Lottery and New York Lottery as this is covered by the bookies in 1,2,3 number bets etc.
I heard and know this to be true that a guy in coatbridge just won £15k on a 4 or 5 horse accumulator, it included a 14/1 shot!
My best win to date was a 2 by £5 singles and a £5 double on a 9/1 and 14/1 shot. I received £875 for my £15 stake. I don't bet big or a lot and just hit the bar again with my football coupon. One of these days!

Worked with a guy who had 2 lottery lines on. 5 numbers on one, and missing 6th number on second line. He was on suicide watch for a while. He won £1100.

i once won just over £2200 for a tenner stake on a 13 team accumulator,i was working down in wakefield at the time and went in to collect my winnings,i have never been a gambler of big stakes and i don't know what came over me,the cashier had given me the 200 and odds,she went to get the rest and i stuck it on the next favourite,it duly romped home at 2-1 giving me another 400 for the coffers,top day!

Nice one but a 13 team accumulator ffs! Must have been odds on shots for a return of £2200! Even at that I can't get 5, 6 or 7 up for chrissake.  Seldom bet more then 7.

it was a cup weekend,i always do at least 10 teams as it looks so easy on paper but there is usually at least 1 coupon buster,like liverpool yesterday

£420, on an 8 team accumulator back in October there was my first and biggest win so far, the final team I was waiting on was Celtic beating Gretna and I was raging going into the last 5 mins but it turned out to be the best week in my life!
Money, Celtic beating Milan and passing my driving test all in one week

i played a joke on the missus,i did a fixed odds coupon and it came up i had a return of 30 quid or something ,but asked the wife to collect it as i had won thousands and told her to take a bag with her to carry the money,so monday she went to work told her best pal i had won thousands and would she go with her to the bookies to get the money,
so looking forward to finishing work and get the money the 2 of them rush to the bookies and hand the slip and the bag to the cashier ,the cashier looked and aked wits the bag for and handed her 23 quid or something similer,the 2 of them fell in the door laughing at the wind up ,it was a cracker,,my wife still tells that story and laughs,

My biggest win was close to 2 grand in one day from £20 of bets..
Think it was in 1993 , the week before the grand national (that royal athlete won).. I had £4 on a placepot that paid £341 to the quid..
Also had a £1 lucky 15 on 4 horses which returned over £600
