People turn to Findlay when desperate and looking at a long term prison sentence and or they are guilty as sin with no real case to win unless of course you have the best money can buy, the OJ Simpson trial for example. Any Jury sitting at one of these trials knows this when they see joe bloggs up on a serious charge and Findlay is their Lawyer. Guilty before it kicks off really. Ferris although he hired Findlay and he was as guilty as sin, he could afford it, the jury however couldn't find Ferris guilty unless they really liked pine furniture. As for scum like Ferris, so long as they are killing each other and not harming us law abiding citizens, let them walk and hopefully the streets will take care of them.

I think Findlay is employed by the legal system as a kind of public defender. He doesn't pick the cases he is told to take them.

Fair point, no expert, I have a friend who is a lawyer, freelance, and helps various firms. He is a mad keen Celtic Fan and gets on well with Findlay funny enough. He speaks highly of him and even likes the guy and this from a rabid Celtic fan and all things Republican too, he was at the same Seminary as me although he is about 6 years my senior so I didn't know him then.
