Calling all you computer whizzes out there.

Im looking to buy a laptop 400-500 quid range for when im heading to Sweden on a Uni exchange thing next month.

This one was advertised by comet in the paper today, I know the ram etc is good, but I don't have a clue about graphics cards, processors and operating systems and what not. My cousin also told me I should try and get atleast 3 USB ports.

Could yous give me some advice on whether this is a good deal, or the original specs are misleading etc.

Heres like link from the website

http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/p...ification#spec

Also battery life 2 hours (max) that cant be good is it?

And what do they mean by wireless? Is that like Wi-fi?

Im 22 I really should know these things

Any help would be appreciated anyway guys!

im not being cheeky m8 ,but your going to uni so i take it your a tad clever ,

why dont you ask the guy in the shop

and 3 usbs what are u gonny attatch to it and 2 hours battery is good
but remember all depends what ure doing on the pc,running cams or playing music runs the battery down quicker, for 500 pounds u should be able to get a brand new p.c.
and as for the wireles bit,,yes the wireless will pick up ure p,c but only if ure in a hot spot "wireless area"

p.s having 2,3 or 4 usbs dosent matter because u can buy a usb that has more usb,s attached to it

it has a good processor... intel dual core... but its speed is a little slow, only 1.46 GHz. although that would be fine for say wordprocessing and internet browsing. RAM is good... 2 GB, hard drive 160 GB is pretty good too. all laptops nowadays come with built-in wireless cards. and as for the battery life, 2 hours really isn't descriptive. mine says 2 hours, but i can get over 4 out of it if i turn the screen brightness down
