Hard to say really mate as I'm never in pubs like that for old firm games. I'm too aggressive for those places, couldn't sit with huns. You don't get agro doon the gallowgate though, all like minded people. Student boozers would probably be chilled out though.

Maybe try that wee gaff just opposite Duke St Station, always seems to be busy and looks quite colourful from the ootside. Louden Tavern I think its called.

Just ask for Patrick or Seamus (Shea to his mates), sure you'll get a warm welcome.

pmsl..take it your not from Glasgow, it's colourful cos it's painted blue, and has the Union Jack and Red hand of Ulster hanging from the outside lol..
If you went in there with a Celtic top or cheered a Celtic goal mate ,you wouldn't come back out, same if you asked for Paddy lol....

It's quite near Celtic Park, about a 5-10 mins walk...so every Celtic game, there's cops outside guarding it lol...

To be honest I think every pub on Duke Street is a Rangers pub - apart from The Crown where you get a good pint, good banter and always a good Tim to talk to. The Molindiner used to be OK up the other end of Duke St, but I went there one night for one of their quiz nights, every other question was Derek Johnstone this, Sandy Jardine that, Who did Bill Struth sign ..... blah blah blah.

Everything bad about Glasgow, bad about Rangers, bad about sectarianism can be found in The Louden. Dont know about the food, but its probably raw, uncooked and unpleasant.
