I was a human snow plough. Was hired as a temp with a brief to clear this massive government office complex with roads and carparks on my own with nothing but a shovel and a supply of grit.

Tesco Extra was bad, so repetitive.. Stacking shelves day in day out.. Work in a bar at the moment and its pretty sound like.

For a few months in a job years ago I had to work the weekend shift.

Started at 6:30pm on Friday night, worked 12 hours nightshift, home on Saturday morning for a sleep. Then went to watch Celtic if we were at home on the Saturday, then straight to work at 6:30pm after the game (had to leave early). Another 12 hour night shift, then back in on Sunday afternoon for a back shift. 32 hours over the weekend then off until the following Friday.

Fucking nightmare.

I always tried to eat a big dinner before nightshift then just have a snack during the shift itself. Otherwise you start eating round the clock.
