Aye a smashing player.Qualifies to play for Ireland but is holding out for England which is a shame for us.Can't see him getting picked ahead of Gerrard and Lumpolard either.Mebbe he'll realise the error of his ways.Better than Sidwell imo.
Can he sing like his sisters tho  ??

Crackin player, just signed a new contract with Bolton unfortunately. Why he hasn't had a chance with England is strange. I'd rate him higher than Joey Barton or Keiron Dyer and probably the equal of Jermaine Jenas.

He is a very good player. I have always rated him highly right from the first season Boltan got back into the premier league he was a standout. Pity he didn't declare for Ireland. Hopefully england will continue to ignore him and he may jump on board. Bloody hell we need a few good midfielders.
I wouldn't be surprised if Allardyce has a lot to do with him not declaring for Ireland. Allardyce has often made it clear he wants Nolan to play for england. You would think McClaren can't be very far from the sack and Allardyce has to be one of the front runners for the job if he does get sacked.
Would love to see him in a Celtic shirt but yes I think he did just agree to a new contract at Boltan so not much chance of that happening.
