Set-List Suggestions?
Im trying to get a set-list together to do some gigs. Now to play pubs you need to have a fairly wide range of music, i can't just be sticking to Oasis, Stone Roses, Verve type tunes. I was just wondering if any of you nice people have any suggestions for songs i could add, and if you come up with a song i don't like i'll let you know!
Here's what i've got so far:
The times they are a'changin - Bob Dylan
Redemption Song - Bob Marley
Cacade - Me
Breath - Pink Floyd (my own version)
Music when the lights go out - The Libertines
Whatever - Oasis
Unfamiliar - Ride
Im looking for another four or five, any ideas would be much welcomed.
Cheers

Any Floyd song would suit me, I know you've got Breathe, but how about Comfortably Numb?
Maybe some REM.....Drive or Everybody Hurts?

lol A know guys, no worries.
Am just talkin an acoustic set on my own. Im keeping my band thing separate.
Comfortably numb would be an obvious choice for floyd fans, but i don't want to ruin it (not that i would but it should be left the way it is). Wish you were here is one am good at but am a bit bored of it now. Drives a good tune, am not really a fan of R.E.M but i like that one. (Everybody Hurts? Is that a joke? )
Jeff Buckley. I've heard the name but a don't know his songs. Maybe i should find out more. The other ones you mentioned Graham are not for me. I know i need to cater a bit but i want to at least be able to stand the bands/artists that im big-ing up.

What's up with 'Everybody Hurts'? Slow things down a bit, time for some quieter contemplation.
If that's not yer bag, how about Green Day?
You could do a decent version of Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) or Wake Me Up When September Ends.

I hate that song, it's far too whiney for me mate. Green day i've never been into, not saying their shite just not for me. I've got quite a selective taste in music, anything i don't like i can't/wont play. Am quite a strange one that way.

I Am The Resurrection - The Stone Roses
The Gambler - Kenny Rodgers
Talk Tonite - Oasis
The Day We Caught The Train - Ocean Colour Scene
Be Mine - David Gray
Something Changed - Pulp
Just a wee selection of tunes that could be useful to your set.

A bit of UB40 never hurt anyone, although may be difficult doing acoustic. Or Lou Reed, Kenny Thomas, The Jam, David Gray...
