Shiels was insane. Reminded me of Di Canio getting sent off after scoring.
He is the guy with one eye isn't he ? How can he play with only one eye ?

Yeh he is blind in one eye maybe he didny see gordon

How can he actually play ? His peripheral vision is obviously not there on one side and it becomes very difficult to judge distance if one eye is not working. How does he manage ?

he would have trouble playing but he could play by learning on how to use only one eye for depth etc you would get use to it

And Banks injury happened later in his life and his remaining eye wouldn't re-learn enough to continue his career with only one eye ?

Think i read somewhere that sheilds had the problem since he was quite young so i suppose he'd have got used to playing with one eye...
