Setanta sack Hateley & Brown

"Mark Hateley and Jock Brown have been replaced by Ian Crocker on the Setanta network. Brown and Hateley were the source of some controversy on setanta and caused the Irish sports broadcasters to be bombarded with complaints over their "Biased" commentating. Celtic fans voted with their chequebooks and many refused to sign up with setanta until they were both removed. Setanta today have emailed everyone who protested and have told them that for the coming season Ian Crocker formerly of sky sports will be the new lead commentator for their network. Davie Provan seems favourite at the moment to be co-commentator but this has not yet been confirmed.
Ian Crocker seems to be a fairly popular choice but lets face it, anyone would be better than Brown and Hately. and even gems like this from Crocker are far better than anything that ever came from the mouths of brown and Hateley

Ian crocker is an english twat that knows fuck all about the game up here as was apparently clear when he was the comentator on Sky for scottish games. David Begg from radio scotland would be my choice,very knowledgable about the game and can bring the game to life on the radio so should be good on tv also.

I actually did'nt mind Hately. I laughed how the only word he used to describe action was "super". Super goal, super pass, super tackle! I thought warner brothers were paying him to create buzz for Superman Returns. Jock Brown is just a shit commentator. I don't mind Crocker. I enjoyed his commentry on the 6-2 game back in the MON era. I would hav like to hav seen Archie McPherson back. He may be a rangers fan(who knows) but he sure gives them pelters and always sounds excited by any team scoring.
