Cruciate ligaments damage

Was at physio today and he said i hurt my Cruciate ligaments thats what i did not want to hear also sayed that if the extreme fitness program i have to do does not work and if scan i have my name down for shows damage i will need op on it so thats me not playing football for over a year fucking gutted bhoys

Sometimes you can get by without the op if you build up your surrounding muscles sufficiently mate, well worth putting the effort in just now. If you need the op then i hope you have private health insurance cause it can be a nightmare waiting time for the procedure. Good luck anyway

I agree with Joe, start a carefull routine on your own, if it is not too sore keep up the gym machine work, then strengthen all the other stuff, try glucosamin condroitin (sp) as well.
Worked for me, I almost had an operation two plus years ago, and I play ok now every Sunday, just back from the gym this morning my time!
I played after about 4 to 6 months.
