Wherever Polish NT play, we always compared [and it doesn`t change quickly] it to the team from 1972[gold olimpic medal], 1974 [3rd place at WC]
and 1976 [silver olimpic] and it is all couse of Him.
Victorious draw at wembley in 1973 with open our road to successes [and closed door for England], sensational play of Polish NT in germany where we play most beautifull football and beat Italy, Argentina and Brazil and many, many more victories and happiness!
In 2001 Górski received most important honour of FIFA- "Gold medal of merit".
I will always remember his simple answers[couse He was simple man] like:
"Football is a easy game. Philosophy here is needless"
"As long as ball is in game, everything is possible"
"The longer we have ball, the shorter they"
We can loose, we can win... we can also draw"
"Ball could pass, striker- couldn`t!"
Where luck is happen again and again... it isn`t luck"
And soon after gold olimpic medal:
"What is worth general without army? Without the army, without this brave group of great people I wouldn`t be here"
and many more...
Sad that he wouldn`t watched our games in Germany. He always dreamed about final with Poland... and he was close.
This "Pope of Polish football" is probably in heaven now, and there he create next, unbeaten team.
