Back in the late 50s I played in Dumbarton it was a course that the fairways were often under a lot of water, because of the river Leven I believe, been a long time.
I started when I was 12 at Mountblow Dalmuir the municipal course, short but very natural, I lived in Parkhall Clydebank, worked at Singers.
I havent played in about 8 years, I live on a short golf course community, been here 19 years, its called Los Prados about 5400 yards long.
My handicap then was 13. point something.
