Loovens delighted to become a Bhoy!!



Dutch under 21 international Glenn Loovens has explained why he chose Celtic as his destination over the forces of darkness. Once again Celtic have beaten their bitter rivals in the transfer market. It is yet another blow to the Evil empire and one wonders how much more humiliation they can take,

Loovens who is much lauded by Cardiff City fans expects to put the finishing touches on his move to Paradise. He said of his move.

"I had the choice of Rangers and Celtic and it was a hard decision to make,”

“But the chance to play in the Champions League is what swung it for me. It's a stage every player wants to grace.”

"I was flattered by Rangers' interest, but the chance to play in Europe was just too good to turn down.

"I'm delighted to be joining a club like Celtic. They are a big club and it will be a dream to play for them.

"Everything should be tied up over the next two days and I'm hoping to be available for the game on Sunday."

It is believed a figure of 2.5 million was accepted by Cardiff City and at 24 Loovens clearly has his best years ahead of him. Celtic fans have been awaiting defensive enforcements all summer and this signing will be hailed as yet more evidence of the ever increasing gap between themselves, the dark side and indeed the rest of the SPL.
