From reports today George Boateng will become Gordon Strachan’s second signing of the summer. Boateng was first came in to British football after now Celtic scout Ray Clarke brought the Dutchman to Strachan´s attention at Coventry City 10 years ago.
Reports suggest Boateng was at Celtic’s Lennoxtown complex on Thursday for a tour of the facilities before being taken around Glasgow.
After 10 successful seasons within the English premiership it seems once again that Boateng will link up with the boss who discovered him, a fee of 500K would seem to be the sum involved.
