Forgotten Bhoy Willing To Fight For His Place

Thomas Gravesen to see out final year at Celtic.

Despite notching a couple of Old Firm goals, Thomas Gravesen never quite made the expected impact at Celtic Park since he arrived from none other than Real Madrid.

So it was with great delight that Everton took back one of the favourite sons on loan last season, which seen Celtic get rid of Gravesens massive salary for a season.

However he failed to re-capture any kind of form at Everton and boss David Moyes told him that the loan deal would not be getting made permanent.

Thus will bring him back to Paradise to see out the last year of his contract while creating a large dent in Celtic's finances. Many fans would like to see Thomas move on but sadly there has been very little interest regarding the former Danish internationals signature.

Asked whether Gravesen would return to Celtic for pre-season training, the Dane's agent John Sivebaek said: "I think so."

Would love to see Tommy G become a success at Celtic however just don’t think that’s possible.

Probably best though for all concerned, to cut their losses.

ffs, I'd be glad to get rid of him, which is a shame, because I was delighted when he came here, but unfortunately it's not worked out...
