New Away Kit Revealed!
“Gold for glory”
This new strip available next month brings together Nike´s cutting edge Sphere Dry fabric technology with a poignant message of tolerance and equality which is embroidered within the collar.
Celtic’s new away shirt is made of the same fabric that was first introduced by Nike for national team kits worn in the 2006 World Cup.
The cutting edge technology allows players to feel fresh throughout use, by keeping excess sweat away from the body. It does this by raised nodes that lift the fabric away from the body which reduces cling. This has obvious benefits to the player as less restriction of body movement and a lighter non sweat ridden jersey will obviously help enhance a player’s performance.
With the words “It’s not the creed nor nationality that counts. It’s the man himself.” Around the neck of all who wears the shirt, it shows that Celtic are a club that is truly open to all.
With the colour of gold, surely Celtic are guaranteed the glory.
To get your hands on the kit it will be available from July 3, 2008. Pre ordering is recommended to supporters as £5 worth of Team Card reward points are available through official Celtic stores.

it is a very "Celtic" style and I do like it, what annoys me is Nike have upgraded their style of kits to the styles that are on display in Euro08 with a new type of DRYfit (you have prob seen the kits have a kind of pattern on the back) whereas we (along with USA) have been hit with 06 style kits.... lets hope the home is a bit more up to date ;)
