Celtic are Rumoured to be Interested in a summer move for Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher.

Scotland International Fletcher is said to be frustrated at his lack of first team opportunity's over the past two seasons and would favour a move in the summer to cement a first team place .

News that the player could be set to leave Old Trafford has also alerted Everton Manager Davie Moyes and Ex-Celtic Manager Martin o'Neill now at Aston Villa.

Dalkeith Born Fletcher has established himself as a regular pick for Scotland and scored a sensational goal against Lithuania having come off the bench for only his second cap. His goal took Scotland to the play-offs for Euro 2004.

On The 26th of May 2004,he captained Scotland to a 1-0 friendly win against Estonia in Tallinn. This made him the youngest Scotland captain since
John Lambie of Queen's Park led the side that beat Ireland 7-2 on Saturday, 20 March 1886. Lambie was aged just 17 years and 92 days.

Fletcher is a good player and I believe we could use him, he is not the speediest or most tenacious of midfielders, however he is competitive willing and able to be a team player.

I agree another Scottish player over-hyped. Would cost us as much or more than the players we want like Sidwell or Bellamy.

I dont think he is over hyped he is not a regular starter at Man Utd so fail to see how he could be, also I dont see anyone on this thread overhyping him?
You have a good point about his cost that could be a problem for I dont think he is worth big bucks.
Sidwell I believe is a fouler I dont like players that foul regular, so no deal for me.
Bellamy is verygood but a bit of a problem child so to speak, also we would have to dish out the cash, I dont think I would like that for him?

sidwells out of contract in the summer , so he would be a free

do we need another scottish player, wgs may be attemptin to have a scottish starting eleven for next year if all is to be beleived, the team needs mixed up a bit, more flair in m/field, and players with better technique.
