Brian Wilson - the closer for the SF Giants, who was immense when they won the WS the season before last - has apparently been ruled out for the season with an elbow problem - that'a gotta suck, 1 week in. Bit like Andy Hinkel for us last season.
Sox news, Jacoby Ellsbury out for 15 days on the DL.

One of the many things I like about baseball is the sense of history it has. Think it's great to see all the players of every club wearing the '42' to remember Jackie Robinson breaking the 'colour barrier' 65 years ago.

This Red Sox team stinks. Last night was woeful. If we can't get Youk, Crawford and Ellsbury back to their best then I think this is going to be a very long season.

Both of the 'huns' related tags have been removed.
Please remember that there is a rule about calling other members 'huns'. It may begin as banter but posting tags of this nature could be seen as a sly way of trolling.
Besides, there are plenty of nicknames & sledges associated with both the Bosox & the Yankees without having to resort to using 'huns'.

Sorry mate, I only asked because I seen the tags. Obviously as an American I think that sort of thing doesn't exist in our sports. That's why I asked
