Hmm, their midfield is starting to look really deep. But I'm not really impressed with what they've got up top or in the back.
I'm a little worried because they have nothing to do but focus on the league (and cup) and we're looking a little thinner with some players just not performing so far ... but I'm hardly blown away.
I thought they were supposed to be offloading some of the dead wood out there, not adding to it ? (as surely not all of those players will pan out.) Somehow I wouldn't be surprised if they're in a financial bind regardless of winning the league or not.

They've got a very good squad, especially when you consider they won't be playing in Europe this season.

Good midfield, especially. Mendes and Davis are two good players and that Edu looks like he could do well.

Why not? He was outstanding for Scotland and played well for the huns. He needed to work on his defensive duties, but going forward he was storming away like Cafu once did. Plus he's now working with the guy who also worked with the best RB in the business, Daniel Alves.
