A team like Hamilton can use a plastic pitch all year in the 1st Div and then rip it up and not use it on the SPL.

I don't. I think no team should use it as it gives them a big advantage over the season. I think they will suffer without it this year.
We've learned a lot what with the Gretna situation and I think the SPL should stamp out several ground rules to the Leagues below.

A bit harsh but I'd like to hear other opinions.

Rugby Park has always been grass. The only team which used this surface was Dunfermline

dunno why we are complaining too much bout dunfermlines plastic pitch to my recall not one injury and we never dropped a point at east end park even Lenny scored on it! and maybe even more shockingly Magic got 4 :O

but yeah it is a disadvantage and shouldnt be one rule for SPL another for SFA

I think if any team is to have an artificial pitch it should be motherwell after all that chaos last season, but yeah i agree i think hamilton will suffer which would be a shame for them.
