Charlie Mulgrew to Aberdeen

Friend of mine just signed for Aberdeen today, good to see him back up here imo and i think he will do well. Maurice Malpas was desperate to take him to Swindon last week but he pulled out after interest from the SPL.

We'll see if he can make Strachan and McCarthy regret letting him go!

He was a decent prospect - think he was tall, fast and had a great left peg but he fell out badly with WGS didnt he??

seriously doubt it looking at his track record hardly speaks volumes for him does it?

booted out of one of the biggest clubs in Europe because you were too fucking lazy to get your finger out and turn up on time or put in the required effort (this all at a time when he was the only LB at the club too and a bit of hard graft an commitment would have seen him start the season in the team).

then followed up by getting released from the mighty wolves after a wopping total of 6 games in 18 months (injured or not thats pish)

So will our 3 in a row manager and a former Rep of Ire manager ever regret letting him go. . . . . . . . . . seriously doubt it

Him and Wallace were both hooked during a pre season game , given the blame for the defeat and that was basically the end of their Celtic careers.

Yeah he's some size now but he's got even broader down south, had an absolute peach of a free kick, he scored a hat trick of free kicks in 1 reserve game iirc!

You are such an aggresive person you'd think you were a perma-raged hun.

He left Celtic as he fell out with Strachan.

He was young player of the month at Dundee United and was possiby their best player when he was there on loan.

McCarthy didn't like his style of play for a full back and loaned him out. This by the way is the same McCarthy that has done nothing of note in club management, being at the helm of a relegated Sunderland once and at the helm when they were miles from safety, 15 points or something.

He was superb at Southend and they wanted him to stay and Maurice Malpas, his Under 21 Scotland manager was desperate for him to join him at Swindon.

IMO if he stays fit he'll end up in the Scotland squad but hey what do i know, the guy's clearly a reject because e-warrior extraordinaire say's so.
