don't honestly see any problem with what he said there. teams raise their games playing against superior opposition, as someone else has already alluded to bratislava is an example of this. i would agree with him that rangers are the team to beat at this stage of the competition due in part to them reaching the uefa final last year

Why are they the team to beat??? Aberdeen beat them by 2 clear goals in their last game, i sense abit of arrogance coming from the huns because they got the UEFA cup final.

Think he's just on about the 2nd stage, which they are the 1st seeds.
If they get through to the 3rd stage, they've got the likes of Juventus, Arsenal, Athletico Madrid etc...
Don't think they're going to be the favorites then eh?
At least they'll get the consolation of a UEFA spot if they beat the Lithuanians (which they will).

He had an awful last 6 months to the season and the huns have seen him for what he is, shit. Didn't Stoke bid £1.5m for McElbows? Hopefully he stays.
