I can almost guarantee
That we will be seeing 'WALTER SMITH MUST GO' on the hun forums, on banners and displays all over stadiums this season. I am almost totally sure about this.
Their fans are deluding themselves at the moment that 'we need to wait and see' etc with the signings, but the reality of the matter is that they're all pish.
Already, some of their fans are very upset about 'he kissed the badge' Miller and are questioning Wally and the rage will continue to increase as they see what he's gone and done with their money.
So Wally auld son don't get too comfortable cos I think you're for the boot this season - ya fat pr*ck.

Dont write them off just yet, it seems they are going long ball again and that works a treat in the spl and against weaker european teams so they will probably have another decent season, especially if we keep playing a passing game which doesnt always work.

Even if we didn't make any signings i think we would beat them and win the league, judging on our form in the last 7 games.

I think so too, we're already equipped to deal with them but it looks like we're set to improve even more.

I doubt you'll see any signs tbh, you'll hear rumblings like you are just now that the fans are discontented but he'll be afforded a bit of respect as he's 'a rangers man'

I'm not so sure mate, I recently infiltrated a hun forum and there was a poll about people handing back ST's if miller was signed and 26 of them are handing back their season tickets. Already there are questions about his ambition and skills in charge and the unrest is growing.
Combine that with a few slip ups at the start of the season and hey presto you have a recipe resignation supreme/sacked curry.

Hun forums and down the pub etc are what i mean by rumblings, i doubt their would be a public display calling for his head. I'd suggest he'd walk away before it came to that.

I think this could happen,
Rangers best strikers(tin hat on) are novo and boyd. when they are playing they score.
They have now spent £6million on strikers and not one of them are any better than these two even though they are shite.
I honestly think, the way we played the last few games of the season can be kept up. and our team last season would beat any improved rangers team so what is going to happen when we improve our squad?

i hate it when people write them off as they always go and have a good season.
people were saying 'three-in-a-row here we go' before last season started. fair enough we won the title, but they came a mighty close second. too close for comfort. so far they have strengthend their squad...we have not. they got to the UEFA cup final last season by their anti-football formation and tactics with, lets be honest, a squad of poor players. you can tell their gearing up for another season of punting the ball up to the lone striker with the addition of Miller. Walter's knowledge of their lack of depth last season will affect his purchases this season.
Rangers fans enjoy watching this anti-football formation as it gets them results, they won't call for Smith's head any time soon.
i believe we will win the league next season (as i do with every up coming season), but i wouldn't be writting off Rangers to push us all the way again

I agree with your original post pal.
They were only puttin up with shit football and shit players while they were winning. The signs are its gonna be the same again for them this year. If he leaves though, he's leavin them with a shit squad for whoever comes in. If he stays he'll probably keep signin shit.
It all fell apart last season and if they start badly this year...

The general consensus from the rangers fans is if it goes tits up this season he'll move upstairs and Super Ally will take the hotseat. I don't know what great shake up that's meant to achieve though tbh.
