been having a little probelm, like random little things not fully loading up for example the clovers at the side would load up half way, and people's avatars, and the little envelopes telling you new posts and that

would it make sense for the site to be members only? that way all these guests would stop logging on pre/post match to see our views on things causing the crashing?
then again, these view's giv the website hits don't they , site sponcers will like that

yesterdays total hits= 92'319
weekly average= 156'295
last 3month average increase in site traffic= 173% !!
might explain the crashes..

Dammits, there's 2 hours to the National Economy and our GNP went up too, we will let this happen again!
There is the IRC channel that people could use instead, the old one on quakenet, thats indepedent of the website. Its still used.

The biggest problem with the site running so slow / crashing is the adbrite, there are a couple of things you can do in FF to help stop them loading or poping up, just google adbrite blocker :-)
dont really think its the traffic, was on a forum that has over 1 million members, not all on at same time but they had thousands on at the same time, and the forum ran normal as they didn't have any ad's, not knocking the ad's BTW i know they are needed, was thinking of doing the same on my own forum to generate some revenue :-)
