Time to make TalkCeltic big fholks! - TalkCeltic

This is the most busiest times for football fan sites and we need to make the most of it by getting as many people in as possible.

Right now we average around 100-120 people to the site everyday (that go to the main talkceltic.net page). That's OK but I think we should be pushing around 150 a day here.

We are linked to loads of football fan sites out there and have plenty of partners. I aim to partner with fan sites of the teams we get in the CL tomorrow because a lot of their visitors will be looking for Celtic sites to look at, just like we do the same.

But I think we would all benefit if we could each spend some time visiting decent football fan sites, be it general sites or sites of individual clubs and emailling the site owners and asking to link. Tell them we will link to them (post the links here and I'll add them to the site right away).

Avoid going onto forums and advertising unless you do it quietly! Try as many sites as you can and offer the possibility of a Partner (again let me know who you say this to here).

If you can think of any other good ways of getting TalkCeltic better known, just suggest them here or go ahead and do them yourselves.

We need a lot of effort here but hopefully we will become better known and more popular - which means more people on the forum and an overall better site.

there are 4 simple ways to get new members to this site which are celtic fans

(1) go on any Celtic forum your a member of
(2) go to members list
(3) get there e-mail address
(4) e-mail them with the link to this site with a little text saying what the site is all about and what is on here.

There are plenty of Celtic fans on that but you will prob get Rangers ones joining aswell acting the maggot, but you could just simply ban them if they cause trouble

Is the webring down I tried entering an url and subscribing to it and it showed up as an error.

Perhaps if it is bollixed you could maybe start a new webring
