Any chance of having a Prediction Forum? Basically it will be members who want to join it can Predict the score of the next match and the person(s) who gets it or closest gets a certain amount of points. We will have a table type thing like a normal football table and we could work the points out as something like. If you get the Score- 2 Points, Any Scorers Right- 1 Point and if you get it all right you get 5 Points or something. Then by the end of the Season the one who comes first gets a prize like vCash or whatnot. But we'll need someone to help run it im willing to although im not on everyday, More likely every 2 days and it'll be handy to have someone else.

Suggestions?

I'm a wee bit confused mate, must be my age. But what exactly are we predicting?

Is it predicting the next Celtic result? or SPL in general? or something else?

Good idea an all, but I would prefer it to be more than Celtic results/stuff. We could just use vbookie for that, really. But for a league etc. predicting all round football, I'm happy with it.

Yeah just Celtic results, Will if you want we could start off with just Celtic Results and if it goes well and is a success we can expand it to all-round Football results.

That sounds quite good, but it's getting people to run it. Someone has to gather all the predictions then work out who has got it right. Then make up the table and keep updating it.

You're saying you can't do it alone, so you'd need to find someone else to help you.

Well if anyone would be willing to help they can post here and we can pick a certain amount if you want?

We could try it until the end of the Season to see how it goes and if it isn't working out we can ditch it or if it is we could expand or even if you want just keep it at Celtic if its good.

I was thinking a thread but it would get cluttered very easily as the weekly predictions and tables etc would be in it. And you can't really but everything in the Pub or Celtic Chat as it would either get lost or would clutter the Forum

Well would it be ok if I just start a Thread for tomorrows game and I know its a bit of late timing but to see the interest about it and then if a Mod/Admin are on around 11:55 they can close it as the Predictions would be off?

A forum for an idea is abit much but I would be happy to make a sticky thread for it. imo just prediciting Celtic results won't differentiate people that much. I would imagine 99.99% of people will always predict a Celtic win with probably Hesselink first scorer. But if that's what you want Connor and your happy to organise it then fire away.
