HTML on forums is usually set to off. Because with html you could really mess up the site by "html hacks"

You can use html codes to create your own website.
You can use them in notebook and then you are finish.
You safe it under .htm
You can also use flash Xhtml or maybe java or other.
Html is a code their can tell the browser what (to do).
<html> <--- to start the html. </html> <------ to finish.
Edit: Eksampel: the snow on this page is a html code.

I believe the forums would keep this off because hackers find hacking in to the site that bit easier through HTML codes.
Only drawback is you will not be able to embed songs or videos due to this.

HTML is the oldest form of creating anything on a webpage , you cannot "hack" a website using html or any other form of script language on a message board!!...You can disrupt a board by embedding exceptionally long music files in your post which would take an eternity to load to anyoneone wanyting to view said page , apart from that it is harmless "basic" beginners voyage into making a webpage .
