It was closed because we felt the thread did not contribute anything positive to the site and was used to get post counts up. It was a waste of space.

Mods and other admins thought it was pointless and gets post count up. I thought it was great banter and shown the site in a positive light but the others thought differently.

thought it was good banter as well, but to be honest the mods an admins are there to do a job an do it well ! its just a pity they cant get rid of all the lurkers that sign up and dont post anything, could you not have a rule that if you dont post say 10 -20 posts in for talk say 1 month you get booted out
