It's funny...in some sports football, rugby etc. I support Scotland all the way but snooker's always been one for supporting exciting players such as Higgins, White and O'Sullivan rather than Peter Ebdon for example.

i was gutted as hendry had his chances and didn`t pot well and ronnie was well lucky with a couple of flukes....but he desrved it.

yeah hendry really should have made more of a fight out of it. must be hard when your opponent is playing out of his skin and still getting all the luck. gutted hendry got beat, i'd rather a scotsman won it seeing as there aren't too many good irish players on the tour at the minute although young jason devaney won junior pot black, may be one for the future

Nah it was speculated in the papers he converted to Islam but he lated denied it.
He's a real character Ronnie that's for sure, he's the main reason I started watching snooker
