That punching of his opponent when he was on the deck was fucking shocking....didn't even apologise when asked about it in his interview.... said at first he was caught up in the moment, then when asked further, just said "At the end of the day I came to knock him out, and I did"....

lol...good one mate. Fucking hate Khan as well, the guy's hand speed and a marketing campaign. He'll probably win a world title given how weak 135 is right now but he's too fucking dumb to do anything significant with his career. The guy must have an iq in the low 80's absolute moron and it shows in the ring. Those are the type of fighters I hate - all physical gifts and no brains, guile or skill.

Looking forward to Hopkins-Calzaghe though....Hopkins might be 100 years old but he's forgotten more about what to do in a boxing ring than Khan's little brain is capable of holding.

Well I stayed up to watch Woods v Tarver. I wish I hadn't. The undercard fight was much much better. Clinton Woods is a total bottle merchant. He barely threw any punches, he just lumbered forward and got caught all the time, and didn't put up a fight at all. Dreadful performance. And to think he was being touted as a likely opponent for Joe Calzaghe. If Joe wins, loses or draws next week, he would still be one hundred times the boxer Clinton Woods is and would destroy him in a fight.

If Joe beats B-Hop, his next fight will either be Roy Jones Jr. or Kelly Pavlik (which I would prefer, Pavlik is a brilliant boxer).

Feel the same, sat up till half 4 and was left bored. Woods never really got into it but I would say that was down to Tarver's awkward style. Too 1 dimensional on Wood's part. Tarver still has all the tricks.

I just watched it a 12 this afternoon , wasnt for staying up to watch it.

tarver and woods where both shit , calzaghe would have stopped tarver easy ,he was wide open and woods just didnt do anything , even when woods got hit he didnt seem to get pissed off

roll on next week , calzaghe will just keep goin for hopkins and if hopkins lands a nice shot joe will hit him back twice as hard and with twice the venom

I'll probably try and get back in time for the fight next Saturday night - I like late ones on Saturdays. Hope Joe destroys him. Although British fighters aren't having too much luck in America at the moment!

If Joe beats B-hop he can clean up this division. Tarver is past it, and Dawson should have lost to Johnson, if not for corrupt judge scores. Nobody is as impressive as Calzaghe at light heavy (even though he is a super middle, he would still destroy the competition), apart from Hopkins. It's a barren division with shite fighters.
