eddie o sullivan quits

BBC SPORT | Rugby Union | Irish | O'Sullivan quits as Ireland coach

i've been a big critic of eddie over the past year or so but he has managed the country to some fantastic victories in his time. think the time is right for someone knew to come in and freshen things up. we still have a very talented team, although our best chance to win something may have come and gone. its a shame he had to leave after such a poor 6 nations campaign, i hope he does well in his next job

His 50-28 record as Ireland coach is pretty good. But clearly he has done the right thing. It was time for a fresh start. He has done a good job. Not quite all that we seemed capable of but some good days in there all the same.
Nonetheless the team had clearly lost it's way and it was time for a change. Lets hope whoever we get can galvanize the team the way Warren Gatland has done with Wales.
