Dublin will have to improve to get anywhere near challenging for the All-Ireland in the summer.

An uninspiring first half from Dublin... Came good though. Some fantastic point taking. It's impossible to read to much into a game like this... Westmeath will prove a sterner task.
Great result for Tipp in the hurling.

It finished up 1:22 - 0:12.
There's a reply of it at this link...

Or get their suspended players back in the lineup in time.

They'll be back for the game against Westmeath on the 29th... That should be a good one, Westmeath will be well up for it after having already played Dublin three times this year. Be interesting to see what Pillar does with the midfield. Eamon Fennell has given him tough decision to make... start Whelo or Fennell??

Well that is good news. If we are at full strength I think we can knock off Westmeath and book a Leinster Final spot.

Easy win for the Dubs still think the Kingdom the team to beat again. As for the hurling what a great 2nd half display by Tipp. But for me(kilkenny thru and thru)its Kilkennys all-ireland to lose.Yes Tipp beat us in the lge(so did Waterford last year)but going for 3 in a row,Sheff back,Tommy Walsh the best hurler in the country and Gorta up front they'll take some stopping.

Great win for Down in the end - Tyrone must be gutted. Armagh are currently beating Cavan by four points in another Ulster SFC quarter final.
I watched the Galway-Leitrim match earlier today and it was a shocker really. Galway, the much better side, almost blew it in the end. Has to be said as well how disappointing it was to see a more than half empty Pearse Stadium. Have to fancy Mayo to beat Sligo next weekend to take on Galway in the Connacht SFC final.
Kerry and Cork are currently winning their respective Munster SFC semi finals. A final between those two would be very interesting. It'd be nice to see someone challenging Kerry this year.
Dublin against Wexford in the Leinster SHC semi final was very interesting yesterday afternoon (especially for me as Kilkenny, who are playing at the moment (planned on being at the match but am feeling poorly), will probably play the winners in the final). Dublin really should be in their first Leinster final since 1991 but at the same time they really should have lost it at the death. The replay at Croke Park is a must see.
