I thought Antrim were giving it a good shot in the first half... Cavan really took control in the second though. Antrim had a criminal amount of wides as well. 'Glass houses and all' I hear you say!!! It would have been great to see a saffron victory though... no disrespect to any breffni folk among us
Haven't read Oisín's book. I've heard it's worth a look though.
Armagh... I was actually thinking of throwing them into the mix along with Derry when I was thinking of Ulster provincial winners. I think they themselves will be hungrier this year than for a while. Probably wanna prove those who said they were past it wrong... Whatever about the game in Cullyhana last weekend, I was up in Cross for the Dubs league match there and they didn't look like a team that would be easy beat. Some good younger prospects, not to mention the likes of Clarke and McDonnell having great games that day. They should take care of Cavan handy enough... Once again, no disrespect to the Breffni folk
Lookin' forward to Wicklow v Laois this Saturday. You'd have to fancy Laois, but Wicklow are gonna be up for it, and flying high, after the victory over Kildare. Could an upset be on the cards????
M**th should take care of Wexford handy enough... The game of the weekend is definitely Donegal v Derry, should be a cracker!!! I reckon Derry will take this one, though it should be close enough. Won't get to see it unfortunately as I'm off to the Czech Republic first thing Sunday morning for the week... flying back into Dublin late on Saturday for the Dubs match on Sunday :icon_mr green: by which time I'd imagine Westmeath will have beaten Offaly earlier on Saturday.
As for the Dubs v Louth... I'm not even gonna talk about it!! Call me superstitious! * whispers: there's a security in pessimism you know*

anyone watch the loais wicklow game today?
looked lke it was gonna be an easy one for loais but some of their finishing was awful, cant remember a game at this level where i've seen so many wides before. good comeback by wicklow and they had chances to snatch it at the end but loais won 15-13
