There is a difference between saying it and doing it on the field. Looking at the results the last 2 seasons and so far this season they clearly show with underage success and the senior team's results improving that we are indeed getting closer to the top counties.

winning a game in the championship is like winning sam for us! we went 18 years without a win one time. think its the end of an era for tyrone, alot of old heads who love playing for their county though so you never know. dooher still amazes me, one of the best footballers i've seen.

I played for Glasgow in Ireland in the Fele or w.e its called a couple of years ago, we got pumped all our games but it was a god time and the sport is pretty fun.

I travelled up to Armagh on Saturday afternoon to watch the Dubs v Armagh in a challenge match... Nothing too exciting... Dubs won 0:07 to 0:05. Mossy missed a penalty! A Brogan didn't have a great game... Shocko was solid enough in the corner.

Looks like Kilkenny and Kerry will be the teams to beat once again this summer. Kilkenny look like they'll be winning another Leinster Championsip this year!

i dont think kerry will win sam this year, they rode their luck last year and were lucky against derry in the league final. the great thing about the football championship is there are 10 teams who could win it. hard to see past kilkenny for the hurling, watched offally at the weekend and wasn't impresed, think limerick may have an outside chance

Just like in the All-Ireland final last year . . . oh wait!
Kerry always raise their game in the All-Ireland. Hope a Leinster county wins it this year, though - best chance is maybe Dublin. Not really a fan of the football for obvious reasons - being from Kilkenny 'n' all . . .

no one likes dublin! best chance for a leinster team is mean old meath, they've always got a chance. gerraghty is in his 15th championship eason and darren fay is in his 13th, amazing how long these boys have been playing whoever wins ulster thi year will win sam, donegal, tyrone, armagh, fermanagh and monaghan wold give any one a run for their money. cavan looked good against antrim, not that thats saying much though.
kerry had 16 men in last years final, think the ref was from tralee!!!!

Kerry were just on a different level for the first ten minutes though and had the match won with an hour to spare - regardless of the ref. My money's on Kerry, anyway - we'll see come the summer who's right.
As long as Kilkenny win the Leinster and All-Ireland I'm a happy bunny.

It wasn't the most high-octane, exciting game ever, but the score makes it look worse than it actually was. Yes, great result for Wicklow... was delighted to see them winning. The game against Laois should be good, they'll certainly be up for it now anyway.
Four of the suspended players were back for the game on Saturday... and the other four will be back after the Louth game on 8th June, so the suspensions shouldn't impact too much on the campaign. I'm sure Louth will come out with all guns blazing so I'm hoping there's no upsets on the 8th. I'd be confident enough the Dubs can take Leinster again ... but as for the holy grail?? Time will tell... I'm not feeling overly confident, but they should still be knocking around come August... whether or not they have enough to go all the way remains to be seen.
