I haven't been home for a few years now. I was just going to ask you how much the area has changed. I grew up in Stillorgan Woods at the top of the Upper Kilmacud Road there. I was planning on a wee trip home this July but doesn't look likely now.

you'll be suprised at the changes as i said sandyford industrial estate is an absolute monstrosity its huge, now got the luas though which is great takes about 12 minutes to get in to town from dundrum goes over a bridge in dundrum at the crossroads which can only be described as a mini golden gate bridge looks so out of place, dundrum also got a huge new shopping centre, finding myself getting lost in the area i grew up in its crazy and house prices are rocketing but theres nowhere sweeter than home

Lol, that's one way of putting it. But it's a brilliant sport once you get your head round it and get into it. Thing I actually like most about it is that you don't have the overpaid twats that you get playing football, just guys who are passionate about it and want to play for their team

Crazy sounds like the place has just exploded. I will probably get lost next time I am home. I can only imagine what house prices are like as you say given Stillorgan wasn't exactly cheap to begin with.

We're already top of our Division and we've played a game less than 80% of the teams in our Division. We gave Dublin a good hiding the other weekend. Can seriously see us winning the treble this season just like 2006 - the National League, the Leinster Championships and the All-Ireland Championships. Just a shame Waterford denied un the treble last year - if we'd have won that match we'd have been going for a treble of trebles this year!

the GAA today announced that intercounty players would get money towards travelling expenses. 3.5 million euro's to be divided between them, about time less and less people are gonna play gaelic games if they have to pay to play

Dublin off to a good start in the league 3 wins and a draw from the first 4 games on the football side. Looking good to make the league Quarter-Finals.
Not so good on the hurling side. But we are getting close to being able to compete with the top counties as our underage teams are doing very well and that is gradually coming through to the first team it seems.

How many years have Dublin fans been saying that? You seem to have been 'getting close' forever!
