Shud be a good title race this season with up to 4 teams challenging. We shud see massive improvement from Honda throughout the season especially now they have Ross Brawn onboard.

4 teams? I reckon 2 maybe 3.
While Ross Brawn has been a massive coup for Honda I don't think they've had the time to develop - maybe if he'd come on board around May but not now.
McLaren have taken a huge blow to their resources with their spy fine. I doubt their ability to compete for the championship and I would also tip Heikke to out-do Lewis. Unless, of course, Ron has learned his lesson and gives Lewis priority over Heikke.
So that leaves us with Ferrari and Renault. As much as I admire Alonso I would say that given Kimi has now been with Ferrari for a year plus, has settled into the team and has won the WDC then he will have the edge. Alonso will have had to readjust to a team which has changed considerably since he won in 2006.
For me it's Kimi for the WDC all the way.

Sorry skippy never included Honda in my 4 teams. I was just stating that there wud be improvement from Honda as they couldn't get any worse than last season.
The 4th team was bmw sauber who i think will give Renault and Mclaren a right good fight/suprise this year but i think and hope Ferrari will pull away 2nd half of the season and Kimi to beat Massa by 2 races victories at least.
The real battle will be for 2nd place in the constructors.
How much have Renault improved with Alonso back, more sponsor money?
Lewis will push like hell but will Mclaren be able to compete due to financial cuts?
Bmw have showed massive improvement the past 2 seasons but can they drive on with the form they ended the season with?!

Been a F1 fan since the coultard days at williams. Can`t say i,m a fan of any in particular team as i like to see the underdogs come through and challenge the top guns. I think BMW will be the 3rd force this year, possibly even splitting the big 2. I can`t see Renault getting close enough this year even though i would like Alonso to do well, especially after the shit he went through last year, gotta say i loved it when he held Hamilton up at the pit. Don`t think Honda will make much of an impact until maybe the second half of the season as they have a lot to do. Lastly i think Red Bull could get a few podiums this year as they will be improving this year if they can get some reliabilty this season. Bring on the new season and i canny wait for the night race at Singapore, that should be spectacular!

All good points.
I think BMW could give McLaren a scare this season. I think it has to be accepted that the massive fine last year plus the fact they're down the bottom of the grid has hit them hugely (at least I hope!). Although I bet Mercedes has bankrolled them
What does everyone think of the Spanish treatment of Lewis Hamilton?

Drool, slabber, slabber, drool.
Well I am rooting for Lewis and Mclaren. Looking forward to a competitive season and hopefully a close finish. Nothing worse than a team and a driver running away with it.

im a formula one fan i used to watch it years ago the year hill won it, that was good i felt bad for him the way williams treated him after he won it.
i remember monza in particular one year when prost was leading and hill got fastes lap after fasted lap and pushed prosts lead till his engine blew up, classic.
i used to watch mansell in indicar as well when he was there, i used to stay up for all the races.
i lost intrest in it right enough when shumacher was winning everything he used to seem to be a nice guy then turned into an arrogant prick.
eddie irvine was legend lol none like him anymore.
i like hamilton he has got me back watching it as its someone british who can do something, he does seem a genuinly nice guy as well and well liked by his team theres nothing wrong with that.
alonso just acted like a diva last year cos he wasnt dominating, he pretty much made a twat of himself.
looking forward to this year, i would like to see williams start to do well again, but i think the japanese lad might be a dud and only there for sponsers. was a bit of a farce when he took out the poor mechanic lol

Anyone except Hamilton for the win, Ralf Schumacher would be good but highly unrealistic.

One of my mates got me a present the other week when on holiday. A Ferrari skip cap ffs - it may as well have been a Rangers top as there is no way in hell will I wear it. Every time he sees me I am wearing a West McLaren T shirt or hat for chrissake, talk about being clueless he probably got his wife a Triffid for Valentines Card Day. Ah well it might be a good duster.

This season will be very special. the return of the "Piquet" nickname to the track! Nelsinho Piquet, son of the legend 3 times world champion Nelson Piquet, is a hope for the brazilians! felipe Massa also have chances with Ferrari, but this year he ll be the number two, because of Kimi.
