Calzaghe's great, but if we're talking about the past I always liked Steve Collins.
But for me it's probably Gavin Hastings.

Thanks I admire him because he's so single minded - he knows what it takes to win and he does it. I don't know if you're a cycling fan but his victory on Alp d'Huez in 2003 when he'd fallen off his bike and then just stormed passed everyone stands out in my mind.

Leinster and Ireland's Brian O'Driscoll easily gets my vote for the present while for the past I would go with Dublin GAA player Paul Curran. He played the same position for Dublin that I did at Kilmacud Crokes growing up (right half back) and was a key player on the Dublin side that won the 1995 All Ireland title.
