Yes chess is a real sport and i do play a bit kinda stoped the past two years but play the odd game i was rank 800 after 1 torny in england

i hate chess these days

i did though play it for lets say few weeks 2 years back ,

i just went into the school tournament for the trophy i thought hey i ll get all these lot out of the way ,

got to the final after 7 straight wins , and lost

right at the death , damn it ...

but i never really liked chess in the first place ...

sack it , i dont consider it a sport at all ...

chess - rugby lol a lot of difference isnt there

Ach, well, ok, but I always get beat. The pieces are more aerodynamic for flicking across the board though, so in that sense I supoose its got an advantage over chess. Plus you can make wee towers and things out of them too. That's two points over chess maybe. But it's still pish in comparison to chess. You don't get live draughts tournamnets with the pianowire tension of nerves crackling with Higgs bosuns and electrifying the audience as Kasparov deliberates over a life or death choice between moving a rook back defensivley or losing a pawn to put himself in a position to eventually corner Krapov's Queen, with intend to do nasty things to her. The beads of sweat on foreheads, hooligans that cough getting ejected from the hall for coughing or wiping their runny noses and thus interfering with play. The hatred, the mindgames.

Where is that in draughts?
Where is that in mind-numbingly brain-seizuring boring snooker?

No, sorry. Chess is truly orgasmic. No disrespect to braindeads who watch snooker or draughts mind you.
