Shabana wins fifth title in 2006
Egypt's Amr Shabana beat France's Gregory Gaultier to win the Saudi International, a PSA Super Series Platinum event, in Al Khobar.
The world number one saw off the seventh seed 11-7 11-9 11-4 to secure his fifth title this year.
Shabana said: "Greg had a harder route to the final. I was fresher and more determined than he was."
England's James Willstrop secured his place in next May's elite Super Series Finals by reaching the last four.
However, Australia's Anthony Ricketts will be unable to defend his Super Series title in London after losing to Willstrop in the quarter-finals.
England's Lee Beachill will also be missing following his first-round defeat in Saudi Arabia to compatriot Joey Barrington.
