i became half decent about 12-14 handicap as i had free access 2 driving range everyday and a lot of people i worked with were pro-ams..
my boss waz ladies irish champion and it waz embarrising playing with her..
also played a couple of round with henkes brother kim larsson he waz mcgregor golf swedish rep. at the time..good player as henke is also apparently..

I play golf, but haven't played in a year due to renovating my house, I'm desperate to join my local course (Forres) next season.
I used to live in East Lothian which has some of the best courses in the country, I played most of them - except Muirfield, but I went to the open there in about 2002 Ernie Els won it, but I had a tenner on Harrington & he was in contention right up to the last day - it made it really good to follow the competition live right there.

My handicap was 16, I did quite well in medals at my old course & the best course I played was St Andrews Bay (for free!).
I also used to live in Spain & my local course was designed by Seve, but it ws far too difficult for someone like me, I had to buy more balls at the halfway shack!! LOL

I'll be going to Carnoustie this year & hopefully a European like Darren Clarke or Monty will win, but I feel Tiger will do the damage again

I use graphite, but they're really quite cheap (but pretty good) - nothing like MacGregor, did you ever get any freebies? They have a mad looking futuristic design nowadays - driver & putter especially, I always liked MacGregor & would probably go for them if I could afford them!

Lucky Bastard!!! LOL

I once had a McGregor glove, LOL

The bags are good value, but I got a lightweight Nike one really very cheap from Sports Soccer in the Sale, it's a cracking bag for about £40
