Thats why we were voted the most intimidating fans in hockey by the players association in a poll.
As much as I hate Toronto I think their fans are the most intimidating. I was wearing a Sens shirt while I was there over the summer and it's the first city I've worn it in that I actually feared for my safety (and I've worn it in American cities before)! Also the city of Ottawa really needs the title. The Sens are our only pro sports team, we don't have a football, baseball, or basketball team to win us a title. Atleast Philly sports fans have other options if the Flyers get knocked out of the playoffs. Here in Ottawa its the Stanley Cup or no title at all. That's part of the reason that the Sens mean so much to us, that and the fact that hockey is a religion here.

You have never been into Philadelphia before then. I would not wear an opposing color to matches even by accident if theres not a logo on the clothes.

We havent won any of those leagues since 1983 so its just as bad.

I wasn't at a game in Toronto, I was just walking around downtown and though I'd get lynched. Are you kidding I could never afford to go to a game at the ACC. I'm a student which means I have no money and you have to have a heck of a lot of if to get a ticket to a Leafs game in Toronto. Plus I wouldn't waste my money on a Laffs game anyways (unless they were playing the Sen) even watching them embarass themselves isn't worth the money.

Red Wing fans were more diehard during the 90's and early 2000's, the peak was in 97 when we beat the flyers in the finals. I was at game 3, the wings won 6-1, the joe was crazy.

I still have to stick with my Sens for the cup, but as Vancouver is my fave western team, if the Sens got knocked out I'd cheer on the Nucks. If they both made it to the final some how, I think my head would explode from the sheer awesome crazyness of it!lol Well, ok I wouldn't be that excited, but pretty close.

I know it's been forever since an all Canadian final, that's why it would be so amazing. I don't think it will happen but I can dream. My fave tam and my fave western team in a cup final is proly a pipe dream but with today's NHL you just never know.

I say Luongo is the best goalkeeper and was involved in the sports worst (greatest) trade ever.

thanks Mike Keenan

Ya you guys go hugely screwed over in that deal. I was watching some show on top 50 worst sports deals of all time and I remember the Luongo deal being pretty high up on the list.

hey! you got big Bert, Allen, and Auld (who was our starter for that year)!

so, i guess you can say you got screwed.
Kraijeck is about the same ability as Allen in even departments, and thats it

Definately not. Look out for Eric Lindros's trade.

Fucking ridiculous

If I remember correctly : Peter Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, Ron Hextall, Mike Ricci, Kerry Huffmann, Chris Simon, Philadelphia's 1993 1st round draft choice, Philadelphia's 1994 1st round draft choice and $15,000,000.

Just Forsberg or Hextall for Lindros would have been a steal.
