I see your points mate, but I think you guys draw a conclusion based on one playoff series (for carolina), don't you? I think it ain't a secret he had been very awful in 5 or 6 games for them before he got replaced by ward. on the other hand gerber was seriously ill and almost collapsed during the games. in my eyes it's a bit harsh when sens supporters claim he couldn't perform when he's under pressure. I saw him doing miracles when he played for the national team at world cups (unlike for the big nations, it's a very important tournament for the swiss team) and olympics (remember the 2-0 victory against you lot  ). he also got a pretty good playoff record in sweden. he's mentally strong and if he can perform during the franchise he can do it as well during the playoffs.
To emery, tbh I have only seen a little from him but based on his numbers he ain't no luongo or brodeur. it's true he was part of a team which played in the SF finals, although I heard sens fans saying it was because of the whole team, mainly the offence.
but you seem to have an openminded and overall fair attitude towards your two goalkeepers, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who's between the pipes, as long as the team wins.

ok fair enough, I won't bust out the smores. I just hind it interesting that there are fans of certain team that hate us and I have no idea why they hate us. Leafs, Canadiens, Buffalo, with those teams the fans hating the Sens is not much of a head scratcher. I guess I am just interested to know why Philly fan think they have a rivalry with us Sens fans.

That was a fun game to watch with all the fights between players and goalies (Emery vs. Peters was hilarious). Heck even the coaches got into it. Hehe I though old Murry was gonna give himself a heart attack or jump over the bench and try to punch out Ruff. I was at the game the next day when Ottawa played Buffalo and we all thought s*** was going to go down but there was only one fight, it was a little anti-climactic.

I really believe that this is the year the wings get back to the finals and win the whole thing. I know that they have had great regular seasons before and done nothing in the playoffs but this team looks different. Out of the east I would have to say ottawa but I'm not sure, it could be anyone.

Let the Flyers we have the most diehard fans south of the border. Detroit just claims it because they win a lot. We are dying for a title down here :(
Thats why we were voted the most intimidating fans in hockey by the players association in a poll.
