Rallying
I will put this up here ...As most of you know my other love in Sport is Rallying , ive been involved in the sport for over 20 yrs from spectating , marshalling ,working for the press taking pics, organising and Competing . Ive Competed in England , Wales, Isle of Mull & abroad in Belgium & Holland .
If you want to know anything about the sport , ie, how to get involved , watch or Compete just let me know and i will try and point you in the right direction ...Here is a videoclip of the era when i first started Competing (mid 80s) It is frightning to see cars being driven that fast on the limit between a wall of spectators .I hope admin let me keep this video in here as its the best Video ive come across to get people in to the sport
Please take time to view it :-)

I hope so ...I know a guy that used to mechanic for the Audi team back then and he said that sometimes especially in Portugal when the cars used to come back in to the Service area there would be bits of Finger (human) stuck to the wingmirror or lodged in the bodywork ....The Spectators used to play Chicken and see who could touch a car as it passed Nutters

awesome vid and music!
Personally I like the rallying, it takes much to drive through these wee streets with that enormous speed.
Well I guess you have got a co-pilot next to you as well, haven't you?
Do you actually know the route, or does the co-pilot always tells you what's coming next?

We have whats called pacenotes these are called out by me and relayed to my driver via an intercom inside a helmet , Pacenotes consist of numbers and distances inbetween the corners .If im allowed i will put another video up with some in car stuff with the pacenotes on there so you can listen to them
Heres a short vid but it gives you an idea of the notes and how they are called , its on the Isle of Man and its a Peugeot 106
