I'm a brand new Celtic fan myself, though I've always rooted for 'em as my family are Irish (and I'd consider myself Irish too). Celtic seem to have the best supporters and honest, hard working players so yeah..

I wanted to go to the Man U friendly seeing as how that's the other club I support, but to my annoyance I'm going to Scotland only a couple of days after the match so won't be able to go up, come down then back up again !

The Chelsea match would be convenient since I live near the scum's stadium but I read that tickets were only for season ticket holders

Ah well, maybe they'll get a London club in the CL.

Aside from football, I love Irish music and I'm into good rap music (mainly underground stuff). I'm a student and freelance web designer (I run my own website and forums at www.nothingontheradio.com & www.nothingontheradio.com/forums and I created www.workingmansband.com for an Irish folk band).

I play PS2 online so if you have PES5 or SOCOM:3 let us know..

I am coming over to the UK in Early August (and have scored tickets to teh Chelsea V Celtic) i was just wondering if that band was playing if so where and when in August, (i am a kiwi but a huge Celtic and Irish Fan)

Despite being a huge fan of Eire/Gary Og, Charlie & The Bhoys, Athenrye, Irish Brigade and more, I'm yet to see any rebel/Celtic bands play live. I'm a regular at the Hammersmit Irish Centre though, who have some really good musicians on each Fri/Sat. Ganley's pub (in Morden/Twicks not Stockwell) is also a big GAA pub who have music on so give that a look.

But I'm willing to bet that there will be some bands playing on match day - just ask around in the stadium.
