Boys can anyone reliably inform me where the term 'BHOYS' came from
i have been a supporter for over 45yearsbut as yet have not found this out
any answers please

Dont have a clue to be honest, assume its the boys with a Lannans twist (see www.ullans.pro.ie for inf on Ullans and Lallans, also www.wikipedia.org)

Celtic are called the Tim Malloys sometimes, which derives probably from the Tims, not exactly sure where Tims comes from, I am sure someone knows.
Anyhoo Tim Malloy`s rhymes with bhoys, which is also similar to the Irish accent or pronounciation of boys, sounding like bhoys.
Now if that doesnt confuse you, ask somebody else? LoL
