Hmm render poor unless its one I have done ... dont think so ..i only started to attempt making renders when "You" asked for the JVOH render/it was a stock I used
Text ... exactly ... text shouldn't be in your face it should be blended in to the background not just stuck there
Okay, some hints for text:
Place it 1/3 away from your render ( again, rule of thirds ) more often then not, use a font size smaller then 18 px ( for most fonts, some can go to 26 and still be relatively small ) unless your going for some fancier text
Genereally, you want all your text in one side, and theres a few ways to blend text.
Move it down a few layers, make it into a clipping mask
