I'd be able to do that.
On CM 03/04 I got Telford (from the Conference) to champions of Europe.
I think it went like this:
03/04 - won the Conference and FA Trophy
04/05 - won the Third Division and Auto Windscreen Trophy (or whatever it was called back then)
05/06 - won the Second Division and Auto Windscreen Trophy
06/07 - won the First Division and League Cup
07/08 - finished third (I think), won the FA Cup and League Cup and finished runners up of the Uefa Cup
08/09 - won everything; Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield and Champions League
The club ended up with over £50m+ in the bank and a 35,000 seater stadium.

Im pish at the game so i won't even attempt it. Theirs a fm site where their are monthly challenges this was one of them. The other was go a middle prem team and your budget is 2billion!
But you have no players at all and no staff

What challenge you talking about?
The first one i am sure people try to win the league, but hardly anyone can get above 15th place.

The challenge should be win the league in the first season. You can build up any team to win a league.
