Computer help!

I got a gaming computer for christmas and its amazing but the thing that really bugs me is, is that theres no fucking sound ffs

any tips on how to fix it or should a just take the moniter to the shop and see if it can get repaired

do you have a sound card?
do you have speakers?
have you checked the volume in the system tray?

I have a sound card
sound should come out of the wee hole things that are on the monitor
whats the system tray?

what type of pc?
so you have sound but only on the monitor? not speakers?
system tray is the bar at the bottom of the screen, sound icon should be on the right hand side...

whats the system tray?

does your monitor have av cables or just visual cable as sound wont auto come out from just having the monitor plugged in, try pluggin headphone into your tower, you should get volume

as he said above, system tray is where your icons are on the bottom right hand side
