Nope. It works really well, probably due to my shit solid defence and my heavyweight central midfield (apart from Naka). Opponents only score from set-pieces or lucky long shots. You just need the right players to play with that formation.


Btw folks, if you are looking for a fresh new challenge, then managing Celtic in the premiership (adding Rangers to it) might be your thing. Just use the Data Editor and swap them with two pish Premiership teams

Nice result. That beats my 5-1 score. Samaras was never any good for me for Celtic. I am in my 5th season as manager.

Not bad as you can see but could be betetr because of the League Cup. But the club has won the elague since 2006 now, Giving Celtic 6 in a row. 3 more for 9 in a row, 4 for 10 in a row.

Btw, Samaras was brilliant for me in the SPL but I felt that I should be more ambitious in the Premiership so I sent him back to Man City at the end of my first season. Huntelaar, however, is sheer class - he's scored something like 29 goals in 25 games. You'd need big money to get him though.

For me it has been Gignac. i paid £10.5m for him in Jan transfer winodw in my first season in. He scored 21 league goals in 15 games. Season 2 he scored 44 league goals in 32 games. Season three he got 41 league goals in 356 games. Right now he has 12 league goals in 8 games. (These do not include CL goals, and Cup goals). What a player this guy is. he has wont he goalden Boot twice in a row. Now thats some going considering scotland only get 1.5 points per goal plus the fact he has beat big name players to the prize. Also won best player in Europe as well.

Thats 118 league goals in 90 games. (again not including other comps).

Sorry bout the size of the list, this might be the one that was posted before i'm not sure.. I was given 8mil by the board in first season.. I sold mcgeady - mcmanus - scott brown - donati - mcdonald Totalling 27mil.. I then spent all my budget on young wonderkid / hot prospect players..some were loaned our for 6months and i signed in 7start youth coaches to train them up and setup a new youth training schedule for different positions ( if you want them let me know ) After getting alot of the youth players i signed on the cheap. ( the most expensive was vela at 10million ) These players won the domestic treble for me and got put out of CL in the last 16 against AC Milan.. I knew i wouldn't get far with the youth i had.. Obviously as I had some wonderkids I sold alot of them on and got alot more back than what i paid for them.

I got a board takeover and first thing new board did was build a stadium.. It now has a capacity of 75k exactly.

My most expensive current first team player was Berbatov even though he doesn't start for me most of the time. he cost 15million when he handed in transfer request.. My best goal scorer is Jimmy Briand though who i bought just in the summer there for 5.5million from Hibs lol. Huntelaar cost me 9.5mil.. I got micah richards from selling formigoni and saez + giving them 2mil upfront and 5mil over 12months.
