i dont know why but i can never beat teams by a big margin... i always seem to win by 1 or 2 goals... is there something wrong? I play a 4-1-2-1-2 formation..

I tried that it it has helped alot. they seem to put away more goals than usual. Thanks mate

Andy has proven what an unrealistic game FM08 is. All the FMs are unrealistic. I had FM (believe it was called Championship Manager at the time, though - same makers as FM) 03/04 and I won everything with Celtic for like five years in a row. Larsson averaged like more than a goal a game. Something like 250 goals in 200 games over 5 years.
It's a shame. If it was more realistic it'd be a brilliant game.
